Owner of Magnetic Island Photography MaryAnne Law is an esteemed photographer that has spent her career capturing unique images of the picturesque Magnetic (“Maggie”) Island near the Great Barrier Reef. As an accredited professional photographer, MaryAnne has covered weddings, family portraits and landscape images of many bespoke locations on the island.

MaryAnne delivers a fresh and energetic expression of all living things, promoting the natural beauty of Magnetic Island through searching for diverse flora and fauna to photograph. She has lived on Maggie Island with her husband, David for over 20 years and loves the peaceful relaxed lifestyle of the island.

MaryAnne has entered the Australian Professional Photography Awards as part of her commitment to ongoing excellence in the field of photography. In 2014 and 2012 she was awarded a Silver Distinction for her photos “Mulwala Ghost Gum” and “Sunbirds Feeding” respectively. In 2011, she received 2 more awards for her photographs titled “Up Close And Personal” and “The Clam Family”. MaryAnne also won silver awards for “Hanging Around Frog” (2010) and “Serenity” (2009).
