As a wedding photographer I think I have the best job in the world, capturing the moments of life that will be remembered for ever. Specialising in weddings and family portraits, I love what I do and am thrilled to be involved in these special occasions. As Magnetic Island’s only resident Accredited Professional Photographer, I have a commitment to friendly, personal service. The ability to have clients feel at ease with the emphasis on fun natural photos are some of the reasons for my success.
After over 20 years as a photographer on Maggie Island, I know every beach, bay, rock and the absolute best spots to create stunning wedding and portrait photography.

My favourite is covering the elopement or small weddings with only family or immediate friends in attendance. Especially here on the Island the atmosphere is friendly and so relaxed, the happy couple are not stressed at all resulting in good fun photos with lots of natural smiles. With the elopements I often double as photographer and witness for the couple also I am happy to help with locations and time for the ceremony to get the most out of what Magnetic Island has to offer.
For these Elopement & small Weddings I can offer a two-hour consecutive coverage usually at one location. This coverage is very flexible, where the couples are just wanting minimal coverage of ceremony, family and guest photos if required than followed by photography of bride and groom great for telling the story of your special moments. The images are lightly edited & supplied high resolution on USB with copyright so you may print the photos yourself and is priced at $895
A meeting with the two of you before the day really will help, even if it is the day before, so that we can go over your coverage and plan it as you would like and also not be strangers on the day.

When shooting a Family Portrait Session we will do individual shots of all the family members, as well as the group of kids together and Mum & Dad shots. We will shoot every single family combination that you require, and don’t forget to include the Grandparents if available. With a family shoot there are as many combinations as you would like with up to an hour of photography coverage.
Casual beach shoots are best photographed in the late afternoon light just before sunset. Please dress neat casual and stay away from black or dark colours, especially on the beach.This is location photography on Magnetic Island — we do not do studio portraits as we have such lovely locations with natural backdrops here on the island, of which I have a favourite bay for family portraits.
